Years 7 – 9 are busy preparing for their end of year exams next week.

Year 7 Science is Wednesday 13th June Period 6.

Year 8 Science is Monday 11th June Period 2.

Year 9 Science will have 3 separate papers    –

Biology Monday 11th June Period 4 (CB1, CB2 and CB3)

Chemistry Wednesday 13th June Period 6 (CC1, CC2, CC3, CC4, CC5, CC6)

Physics Friday 15th June Period 6 (CP1, CP2, CP3)

All students should be using their exercise books and textbooks to revise the content that has been covered throughout the year. Year 9 students should also pay particular attention to the Core practicals that they have completed during the year.

The Online version of the year 7 and 8 Activate Science textbooks can be found at www.kerboodle.com and each student can login using their school email username and password. The organisation code is bro7. The link can also be found on the school website.

The online version of the GCSE textbooks for Year 9 students can be found at www.pearsonactivelearn.com and again their school email username and password will allow them to access the textbook. The link to this can also be found on the school website.

We are trying to simulate the same exam experience that the students will experience at the end of the GCSE course which will include 2 papers for each of the sciences. Year 10 students should be using their exercise books and textbooks to revise the content covered during the GCSE course which started at the beginning of Year 9.

The online version of the GCSE textbooks can be found at www.pearsonactivelearn.com and their school email username and password will allow them to access the textbook. The link to this can also be found on the school website.

Good luck to all our students.
