Year 7 Update

Posted by: Ben Ryan on 18-10-2019

It was a very busy half term for the new additions to the Hollyfield School. The Year 7s overall have shown a great attitude and have been working really hard and applying themselves both in lessons and at extra-curricular clubs. It is great to see the number of students who are attending clubs, whether they be with the PE department or other departments within the school. The year group  accrued 7,559 achievement points last half term which works out to be about 243 points a day! This is a fantastic effort and a really postive start to the year.

I spoke to the Year 7s in assembly about the changing weather and it would be advisable after the half term break to have a waterproof coat as it gets colder and potentially wetter. The school blazer does provide warmth but it can absorb the rain if exposed.
