Phoenix Provision Meeting

Posted by: Josh Blakley on 18-03-2020

On the 11th of March, a group of parents came into The Phoenix Provision to meet for the very first time.  The Speech, Language and Communication Needs Parent Support Group (snappier title forthcoming) has been put together to provide support for parents of students with SLCN, including Autism, who attend The Hollyfield School.

Parents of students from year 7 to year 13 had the opportunity of meeting and sharing ideas, experiences and advice.  As the group grows, it is hoped that parents can share their expertise and support each other through the secondary school process and beyond.  There will also be opportunities for outside speakers to come in, chosen by the group.

If you are interested in attending the next SLCNPSG or have any questions relating to the group, please email Anita Procter, Teacher in Charge of the SRP, to be added to a mailing list.
