Year 11 Amelia Bell was part of a 4x300m Relay team who won Silver at last weekends Surrey County Relay Championships where their Kingston AC and Polytechnic Harriers broke the championship record clocking a time of 2:58.75s Amelia was also in a relay team in the 4x100m who came 4th missing out on Bronze by 0.08s!
The U17 women 4x100m squad came close to getting a Bronze medal, but were beaten by just 8/00 into 4th! Fired up by missing out on a medal in the shorter relay, next up were the two U17 women’s
teams in their 4x300m relay. The lead was changing all the time between Woking and our A team, but Amelia Bell and her team mates had to settle for silver by only 2 or 3 metres despite smashing the club record. Congratulations Amelia, what a fantastic achievement! Good luck for the remainder of the season.
