KS3 Science Coordinator

Full Time, Permanent

With effect from September 2025

Salary: Outer London Main/Upper Pay Range

Additional TLR 2/2: £5,573 per annum

The Governors and Headteacher wish to appoint a new KS3 coordinator to lead our KS3 Science provision. We are looking for an exceptional candidate to work with heads of Biology, Chemistry and Physics to develop and deliver a knowledge-rich curriculum that is exciting, innovative and diverse.

Science is held in high regard at The Hollyfield School and the proportion of students taking Separate Sciences is much higher than the national average.  Many go on to study the three Sciences at A Level in our thriving sixth form. We are currently developing our knowledge-rich curriculum in conjunction with our partner science departments in the Trust in order to provide our students with a world class programme of study. The Science department has an excellent extra-curricular offering with trips that include an annual visit to CERN in Geneva, London Zoo, Bodyworlds and the Big Bang Fair.
