Specialist Provision

The school understands that waiting lists for external counselling and support are very long. However, the school will always support students and their families who may need the support of CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service). When this is the case and inline with the school safeguarding policy a member of the pastoral team would complete a referral to CAMHS.  If students are on a waiting list for CAMHS we will try and offer time with our school counsellors - although this is dependent on availability.

The school also signposts students and families to the 24/7 crisis line.

There is now a single 24/7 crisis line Tel. 0800 028 8000 for our local families to contact. The suggestion is that families contact this number before attending A+E (unless there is an emergency medical need).
