Parents Teacher Association

About Hollyfield PTA

The Parent Teacher Association at Hollyfield is a group of volunteers who meet approximately once a month and organise social, fundraising events for Hollyfield School. The PTA funds are completely separate from other school funding, and we can influence the decision-making on how the PTA funds are spent, whether that’s new equipment for the school or special trips. All parents are welcome.

How to Get Involved

There are several ways you can get involved with the PTA and help to support Hollyfield School.

  • Join the Hollyfield easyfundraising scheme.
  • Come along to one of our big fundraising social events. They are a great way to meet other parents, make friends and strengthen the community around Hollyfield.
  • Volunteer your help. We always need a rotation of volunteers to set up food and drink stalls at school events. During the biggest events such as Hollyfest we need as many hands as possible for planning and running stalls, selling raffle tickets, organising promotions and prizes, and dozens of other roles. Please let us know if you have any specific skills or connections that might be put to good use.
  • Come along to the PTA meetings, held once a month at the school (see the calendar). Often the head and/or another senior member of staff will join us to discuss fundraising plans.
